Can I book online?
Yes Yes Yes!
All appointments must be made online. If you run into difficulties, please pop me a text or give me a call. It is far easier for you to check the online booking page for a suitable appointment as it is a LIVE system that is completely up to date and I only have access to the same information.
The booking process requires you to input a number of details including your contact details so it is way quicker for you to do this yourself.
Each booking requires an up to date credit or debit card to secure the booking. This is encrypted using the most up to date and secure tech and I do not have access to these details as they are held encrypted on the system.
Do you take a payment or deposit at the booking stage?
No.
Your card details are held in case you fail to show for your appointment or cancel your booking within the 24hr cancellation window.
Payment is made AFTER your treatment and I accept all types of card payment (including contactless and Apple Pay), plus BACS transfers and of course, good old cash!
I can’t make/need to change my appointment.
No problem! Once you have created your online account, you can book, amend and cancel your booking yourself online.
I have a very strict 24hr booking policy that requires you to give me 24hrs notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. I you cancel within 24hrs of your appointment time or fail to arrive, FULL payment will be taken. WITHOUT EXCEPTION. You are asked to tick a box to say you understand this policy at the time of booking and are reminded in ALL confirmation and reminder texts and emails.
Being self employed, if I'm not working, I'm not getting paid! There is nothing more frustrating than setting up the treatment room for an appointment and a client doesn’t show up. If I'd had enough notice, I could have filled the appointment with another client. Imagine taking time off work, unpaid, to wait in for a delivery and it doesn’t arrive. You’d be as mad as a box of frogs!
I also understand that people get sick and unexpected things happen. That’s fine, but PLEASE just let me know. Repeatedly cancelling at the last minute or failing to arrive for your appointment, will result in me taking full payment upfront or refusing treatment. And when you’re looking for the best Brazilian wax in Plymouth, you’ll be hard pushed to find a better intimate wax in Plymouth!
Evening appointments
My two late evenings (Tuesday and Wednesday) get booked up weeks in advance. Please try and bear this in mind to avoid disappointment!
Can I have additional treatments on the day?
It all depends on what you are looking for. If you’ve booked in for an eyebrow wax and wanted to add a full leg wax, chances are I won’t be able to fit it in (unless I’ve had a cancellation – see above). If you’ve booked a full leg wax and wanted a brow wax, I’ll do my best to squeeze it in!
Booking lash and tinting appointments
If you have not had any eye treatments with me before, you must have a patch test. This applies to brow and lash tinting and lash lift treatments. I will not perform these treatments without a patch test at least 24 hours before. You will need to pop into the salon where I will apply the relevant solution to your skin. If no reaction occurs, you are fine to have the treatment. If you do have even the slightest reaction, unfortunately we will not be able to perform the treatment. We’re talking about your eyes here, so it’s really not worth taking the risk (plus my insurance policy requires it)!
Do you take card payments?
Yes. I take all debit and major credit cards as well as contactless, Apple Pay, BACS transfers and cash.
What if I’m not happy with my treatment or service?
My number one priority is that my clients are safe and happy. Please pipe up during the treatment if something is worrying you or if you have a problem when you get home, call me! I will do everything I can to put it right. I would rather you say if you’re not happy and give me the opportunity to fix any problem, rather than you go away unsatisfied and not returning.
Certain treatments require you to follow aftercare instructions, such as waxing, and lash lifts. Please bare in mind that these types of treatments take place on your skin and lashes and if the correct aftercare is not followed, it is possible to affect the treatment results or cause skin reactions. I can only advise you on aftercare, it’s up to you to look after your treatment once you have left the salon!
I’m calling from work and need to be discreet about my appointment…
I am used to this scenario! If you just say you’d like to book an appointment but are in a busy office so need to be discreet, I will run through the treatments, so just shout when I get to the one you want! Alternatively you can text or email me.
Can I bring my children with me to my appointment?
Yes. As long as they are well behaved. I work with a LOT of hazardous solutions and products along with sharp tools and hot waxes. It is your responsibility to ensure that your children are entertained and not touching anything they shouldn’t! They are your responsibility.
Can I bring my dog with me to an appointment?
Sorry, but unless it is a guidance dog or by prior arrangement, we respectfully ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
